The Re'ut School was created in 1999 by educational visionary, Dr. Aryeh Geiger (z"l), as a religious pluralistic community for the purpose of educating seventh through twelfth graders in an academic environment grounded in Jewish learning, social activism and respect for others. Appreciating the history and varying traditions of Judaism’s different religious groups and practices, we welcome students and faculty from all streams of Judaism.

Re'ut is committed to the teaching and implementation of the educational ideals embraced by Janusz Korczak acknowledging the rights of children as a social class unto themselves and the development of their abilities for self-empowerment and creative expression.

Through its social action volunteer programs, which are central to the mission of the school, Reut is both a place of learning and a community committed to the service and support of others. Reut is a fully accredited school within the State Secular school system.
